I am an author, artist, and lover of laugh-track sitcoms. I am an introvert. I'm married to an extrovert who makes friends everywhere he goes. I'm also dog mom to an equally extroverted rescue mutt. My family and I live in the Pacific Northwest, one of the most beautiful places in the world (maybe there's bias there).

For most of my life I was immersed in Word of Faith and New Apostolic Reformation teaching. The same is true for my husband.

The Lord graciously led us out of the unbiblical & hyper-mystical theologies of these movements.

My blog is dedicated specifically to my thoughts on topics of theology and church culture. I examine my past experiences and beliefs, contrasting them with what I have found in scripture after finally having the Charismatic rose-colored glasses removed.

My goal in sharing this blog is not to gain a following or teach people what they ought to think. My goal is to allow others a glimpse into my story as a way to encourage them that they are not alone in their own journey toward faithfulness to God and His Word.

We may not come to the same conclusions, and that's okay. We might just help each other see things more biblically, and that is always the goal.
